Lauren and Alex were married on the most perfect day, right at the end of summer of 2021. At the start of the year, instead of trying to figure out seating arrangements and color schemes, these two had to figure out if they still were able to move forward with the wedding because of pandemic restrictions. And I’m SO glad their wedding day did end up to be the most amazing day for them. It was bright, sunny, and so full of joy and love you could also feel it!

The couple had their ceremony and reception at Castle Farms, in Charlevoix, MI. If you’ve been lucky enough to visit this venue, you know that’s about enough said…you know it’s going to be a fairytale no matter what! There were many (happy) tears, sweet moments, one wedding party that KNEW how to keep that dance floor rocking, and best of all: one new Mr & Mrs. Here’s a glimpse into their day…

Lauren and Alex gave the most amazing gifts to everyone…including their vendors!

As many weddings do, we were a little pressed for time right before the ceremony, but these two really wanted a private moment for a prayer together, still not seeing each other. There were a LOT of other weddings happening at Castle Farms that day (I think 5 in total?) and being so close to the start of their ceremony, there were people EVERYWHERE. So we couldn’t hide these two behind a corner, but with a solemn promise from Alex to not peek, we were able to squeeze this moment in. And I’m SO glad these two wanted this moment!
