Kory and Chelsea...I cannot say enough amazing things about this couple! I remember chatting with them about their wedding day during the engagement session (which you can view HERE if you wish!) and I remember thinking about how excited I was with all they described and had planned. As the big day drew closer and we finalized the wedding day photography details, my excitement grew and grew and this spectacular wedding did not disappoint! This wedding on this hot summer day was a fairy tale! From the dress (you guys...this DRESS!!) to the colors to the decor, it was all put together so lovely and not to even mention their amazing wedding party!
The day was so full of wonderful moments, but below are some of our favorites <3
This group of girls was amazing! And I'm still gushing over the robes Chelsea got for each one of her ladies!!
When you look this good, selfies are mandatory ;)
The bride and her father. I always adore these moments when the dad get's to see his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time.
...and it's the girls' turn!
...and best of all, the groom's turn to see his bride.
We had just a few spare moments before heading to the church so we captured a few of the entire wedding party and then some of just the bride and groom.
They said "I do" so let the festivities begin!
This wedding party. I can't say enough of how fun they were!!
I love this next one for a few reasons. One is because what is better than making a tunnel for a few random bicyclists? The second is because this couple on the bikes contacted me after the wedding (after finding a few of my posts on social media) about how this moment was one of their favorites of the weekend and how these images were the first "official" ones of them as a couple! How fun is that??
Kory definitely had ALL the groom swag going on.
I am still slightly obsessed with these bright pops of color!
Chelsea was truly a magnificent bride!
After taking some pictures at Presque Isle park in Marquette, we ventured downtown for a few drinks before heading to the reception.
The bride and her father surprised everyone with an amazing dance routine that was the highlight of the evening. Seriously, it was such a special moment and I still have a huge smile on my face when I think about it!!
And the surprises didn't stop there!! The bridesmaids had a dance as well that was just as amazing!
After that, the reception continued and everyone danced the night away. It was an amazing wedding and I'm so honored to have been a part of the day, capturing all the details for this wonderful couple.
Oh, and by the way, when the bride and groom have Donker's amazing chocolate covered caramels with pink sea salt on top as favors at the reception...that alone makes the entire wedding day a winner in my book ;)
