Grand Haven Wedding, Rachel and Jake

I have to preface this by saying THIS IS JUST A SNEAK PEEK! I had so many photos from the sneak peeks I wanted to share, I figured it would look much better as a blog post, so…here it is!
Rachel and Jake are a special couple. You just know it when you talk with them and see how they are together. That true, real love they show for each other and their families is just wonderful and it made their day above and beyond exceptional. They chose Memorial Day Weekend, which is sort of an “unofficial” start to the summer, and it felt like it…we even got sunburned! We laughed, cried, laughed some more, and ate the most amazing doughnuts for dessert. It was the perfect day, for a perfect couple.
Side note: before we get into the photos, I have to say how Rachel truly is a strong, amazing, and very talented woman. Her personal story is absolutely incredible of what she has been thru and I highly recommend checking out her book…which can be found pretty much wherever books are sold. I loved this sign so much and we took photos here TWICE on the wedding day…because at the end of the day when it was Golden Hour, the light was just absolute perfection and, well, we had to do it again!!
The foot washing during the ceremony was one of my favorite parts of the day!!
Golden hour in Michigan…its so, so good.
