Andria and Jim are quite possibly the most perfect couple you'd want to meet. They are the kind of couple you want to just hang out with and have fun. So sweet and kind and just amazing humans. After getting to know them better for our engagement session, my excitement for their wedding was easily doubled! I knew it was going to be a fun one...we were able to travel down to the Illinois/Iowa boarder for their wedding at a gorgeous historic house, with the reception in a old renovated train station (I mean, how neat is that??).
Their wedding day was a windy and rainy midwest day. By the time we started shooting, the rain was pretty much done, but windy enough we could not have the ceremony outdoors. But we still were able to shoot outdoors a little bit and every part of their day, from the getting ready to the first look to the ceremony and reception, was filled with so much love and laughter and amazing memories. Here's a few from their story...
Andria and Jim had a first look and seriously, they're pretty much the cutest!
Because when you work for John Deere like Jim, you absolutely need to include some of the tractors you help build! The John Deere Pavilion in Moline, IL was the perfect location for this.
After the wedding party photos, we headed to the reception, The Abbey, in Rock Island, IL. It was such a cute venue! The guests were able to enjoy an amazing meal, fun dancing, and amazing desserts, including the grooms death star cake!
