Kristyn and Jack are rockstars. They are one of the funnest couples we've had the honor to photograph (seriously, my husband keeps talking about how much Kristyn made him laugh during the course of the wedding day...she's just awesome like that!) and every detail of their wedding day was perfect.
Their wedding day dawned sunny and bright...and HOT. It was one of those Traverse City days in mid-September where summer decides to finally show up and the humidity and heat and sunshine was relentless. BUT...it was the perfect day to be married. This couple had their wedding just a short drive from Traverse City up the Leelanau Peninsula in the quaint town of Northport. They had their ceremony at the marina, in the gazebo, and had their reception at the Willowbrook Mill, an amazing reception space. Everything about their day was so so perfect. Kristyn and Jack had a "not seeing each other" first look. They wanted to exchange cards together, but not see each other. This little corner was a great spot...and since they were selling ice cream around the other corner, obviously we had to get some too!!

After the ceremony, we continued with portraits of the whole (and totally awesome) wedding party and newly married couple!!
Willowbrook Mill right there in downtown Northport, MI is seriously the cutest! It was a great space for all the reception festivities.
