The Ridge at Verterra, a Vineyard Wedding

Lizzy and Steve’s wedding day was one of the hottest and most humid days this summer. It was a scorcher. For us in Northern Michigan, anyways. Many of the guests of Lizzy and Steve were visiting the Traverse City area from down south and with the temps, they felt right at home! But the venue, held at Verterra Vineyards in the Leelanau Peninsula was truly a Michigan treat for everyone at the wedding!

I had actually met this couple earlier in the week for their engagement session at another favorite, the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We had an incredible morning and I loved getting to know them (and their adorable son, Milo) a little better. So when the wedding day arrived, I was extremely excited for all the day would hold! The couple said their vows in the midst of the vineyards, laughed and danced to an amazing band, and enjoyed their friends and family in the most amazing day of their lives (besides the day Milo was born!). It was so much fun celebrating with them! Here’s some of their love story…
