Jocelyn and Tanner.  One of the most perfect couples ever. I first met this couple when I photographed her twin sister's wedding (which was SO perfect and amazing in itself!)  I love Jocelyn's family so I absolutely jumped for joy that I would be working with them again!  We had chatted about doing this couple's engagement session on Mackinac Island and it ended up being one of my favorite engagement sessions ever.  So I was very excited for their wedding day, knowing it would be so special and FUN and it absolutely was in every way.

Their wedding, in Marquette, Michigan, was a beautiful summer day.  We started out be getting ready at the Holiday Inn, which was also the couple's venue for their ceremony and reception.

Andrea putting on the bracelet for Jocelyn had everyone tearing up...Jocelyn did that for Andrea on her wedding day!

The couple did have a first look planned, but still wrote cards to each other to read prior to that and it was a beautiful moment.

Tanner was especially nervous to see his bride, but having a first look always helps get those jitters out before you walk down the isle.

Sometimes couples will have gifts for each other as well on the wedding day, which Tanner and Jocelyn did.  And they were really amazing gifts, too!

After the first look and wedding party portraits, we headed back into town for the wedding ceremony.  I love this picture of the flower girl here...she took a few steps down the isle and just dumped the entire basket of flowers in one spot.  She was so darling!!!

After the wedding we had a few moments for some more portraits of the bride and groom.  Which ALWAYS makes me happy!

So I can't remember exactly who was responsible for brining these bells, but there were a ton of them.  One set said "ring for love" and the other said "ring for Jesus".  They probably will always be my favorite thing ever at a reception.

The sunset was gorgeous out that evening, so we stole away from the dance floor and snuck in a few more pictures.

Best man duties: getting in on playing a prank on the groom.  Instead of grabbing the garter from his wife's leg, Tanner got a handful of his buddies and it had us all rolling.
